Location. Located north of downtown Scottsdale, Ariz., the Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort Scottsdale is one mile from Old Town Scottsdale. Scottsdale Fashion Mall is one mile from the property and the Camelback Mountains are two miles away. The hotel provides complimentary shuttle service within three miles of the property.
Hotel Features. This Scottsdale resort's design, inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, blends modern geometric shape with natural stone materials. Centered around a glass waterfall and skylight atrium, the hotel's Fuego Restaurant and Bar serves causal Southwestern cuisine, steaks and seafood. Palm Grill, a casual poolside restaurant, features tableside cooking while the Loggia Bar serves light fare and cocktails. Surrounded by palm trees, the hotel features two heated outdoor pools with spa tubs and waterfalls. A nine hole putting green and an on site golf specialist are available. The Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort Scottsdale offers a complimentary fitness center, racquetball courts and a full health club. The business center includes printing, Internet access, and fax and photocopy services.
Guestrooms. The hotel's 378 guestrooms feature high speed Internet access. Doubletree Sweet Dreams beds with custom plush top mattresses, baffle box down blankets, 200 thread count linens with triple sheeting and four jumbo down pillows are included in each room. Guestrooms offer private patios or balconies, some with pool views. Rooms are equipped with cable television, television based Internet access and video game consoles. Bathrooms feature dual marble vanities and complimentary Neutrogena toiletries.
Expert Tip. Take the hotel's complimentary shuttle to the Scottsdale Waterfront, one mile away. Along the banks of the Arizona Canal, the Scottsdale Waterfront features shops, restaurants and art. This water themed development includes a 55 foot waterfall, fountains and trolley service and a pedestrian only foot bridge provides access to the shops at Scottsdale Fashion Square.
