Location. The Mill Resort & Suites Aruba is a tranquil retreat on the island of Aruba in the Dutch Caribbean, 400 meters from the high rise glitz and glamour of Palm Beach. The Casablanca Casino, and butterfly and bird sanctuaries are within one half mile of the resort. The Seaport Village Mall, Seaport Marketplace, boutique shops and restaurants in the port city of Oranjestad, located seven kilometers away, are accessible via city buses.
Features. This resort's lobby welcomes guests into a large open space featuring pillars, an open staircase, ceramic tile flooring, a lily pond, a cascading waterfall and custom made, hard carved Columbian furniture. The resort's Garden Cafe Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The poolside bar offers fruit smoothies, specialty cocktails and snacks. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby and poolside for a fee. Two computer stations are available in business center for a fee. The resort's central courtyard offers a freeform outdoor pool, children's pool, umbrellas and chaise lounges. A complimentary shuttle takes guests to the beach, where complimentary chaise lounges and towels are available. A day spa offers a unisex sauna, steam room and exercise equipment. Facials and massages are available by appointment. A creative mini market and gift shop, called the Juggling Fish, is located at the property. Multi lingual concierge services, car rentals and laundry facilities are available. A daily activities program is available for adults and children.
Guestrooms. Accommodations at The Mill Resort & Suites Aruba are located in four colorful two story buildings connected by exterior walkways. Rooms feature tropical decor, floral bedding, tile flooring and island rattan furniture. All rooms offer mini fridges or full size refrigerators and coffeemakers. Select units offer kitchenettes with stoves, mini fridges, microwave ovens and coffeemakers. Studios offer kitchens with full size refrigerators and a combined sitting and dining area. Cable television is provided in all units.
Expert Tip. The Bang Gozzza poolside bar offers a daily happy hour from 6 to 8 p.m., with complimentary snacks and two for one priced cocktails. The bar also offers live entertainment, dance shows, and Salsa and Latin dance lessons.
